Services - what to expect
When is our service?
Our Sunday morning service is in our worship hall starting at 10:15am for about an hour and a half. After the service teas and coffees are served where you can meet with others and have a chat, everyone is welcome.
Can children come with me?
Yes! The first Sunday of each month and during the summer holidays we have an all age family service for the whole family. All the other Sundays the children go out of the service to another room for Kings Kids. This is a time of games, fun and teaching and is a great environment for your children to play and learn with other children their own age.
What does a typical service look like?
The first service of the month we have a family service where the children stay in the service and enjoy a family focused shorter time together. Every other week it looks something like this:
- Start with a welcome (10:15am)
- Some songs and prayers
- The children, go out to Kings Kids, our childrens work (around 10:30am)
- There may be some notices
- Sung worship and the youth will go out
- Sermon (about 30 minutes)
- Ministry / Response
- Blessing (around 11:45am)
Is there parking?
Yes. We have a small car park next to the church and a bigger area on our field behind the church where you can park. Just drive through the small one to the end and there it is!
What should I wear?
We do not have a dress code for our church, we would like everyone to feel comfortable just as they are.
What if I don't know anyone?
We like to welcome everyone from regular comers, to occasional visitors to new people! It is a great opportunity to meet new people and we hope that our welcome team can make you feel right at home. We also have members of the church team who are available for anyone wanting prayer or support too. There is coffee and tea after the service which is a good time to have a chat.
Can I come if I am not a christian?
Absolutely! We are a church for everyone, regardless of where you are with God, you are very welcome to come and explore what it means to be on a journey of faith and to find out more about God's love.
